This is an APC Easy PDU metered power distribution unit designed for data centres and networking racks. It is a zero U unit that fits vertically in the rack without occupying rack space, offering 22 kW power capacity at 230 V.
Who it's for
It suits environments that require high-density power distribution with individual outlet monitoring. Ideal if your rack has C13 and C19 IEC outlets and you need straightforward power metering on a metered but not switched PDU.
Why it's good
With 18 C13 and 6 C19 outlets, it supports multiple devices without adapters. The zero U design means it attaches to the rack rails, saving space. Metering helps track power usage but it does not provide remote control per outlet.
When to choose it
Opt for this APC unit if your setup needs a simple, reliable metered PDU with a vertical footprint that won’t reduce rack space. It’s best where remote outlet switching isn’t required but monitoring is useful.
