The StarTech.com ICUSB2321FIS is a 2.5m (8.3ft) USB-A to DB-9 RS232 serial adapter cable built around the FTDI FT232RL chipset. It adds optical isolation rated at 2,500V, protecting both your laptop or PC and the connected serial device from voltage spikes and ground loops. It ships with drivers and supports baud rates up to 921.6 Kbit/s across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
