Microsoft Teams Phone vs SIP — which do I need?
If your phone system is hosted in Microsoft Teams (Teams Phone, Direct Routing, Operator Connect), pick a Teams-certified model (VP59, SIP-T58W, MP56 E2). If your system is a traditional VoIP / IP PBX (3CX, Asterisk / FreePBX, Cisco BroadWorks, Genesys, etc.), pick a SIP-T desk phone (T46U, T53, T31G). Yealink hardware looks similar but the firmware and provisioning paths are different.
Do Yealink phones support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)?
Yes — the desk phone range supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE. We confirm switch PoE budget against the number of phones and any add-on modules (DSS keys, expansion modules, USB headsets) before shipping.
Can phones be pre-provisioned before shipping?
Yes. Through Yealink RPS (Redirection & Provisioning Service) and YDMP (Yealink Device Management Platform) we can register MAC addresses to your provisioning server so phones auto-config the moment they get DHCP — no manual setup.
What headsets work with Yealink phones?
Yealink’s UH36, UH34 and UH3X USB headsets are the recommended pairing. RJ9 / EHS analog headsets work with the right EHS40 adapter. We bundle the right headset model with the phone order.
Do DECT phones cover an entire site?
The W-series bases cover normal indoor office distances — for larger warehouses, retail floors or hotels we deploy multi-cell DECT (W90 / W80 architectures). We site-survey before quoting handset and base counts.
Can I get a euro quote with Irish VAT?
Yes. Contact Creative Systems with phone counts by family (Teams / SIP / DECT), your PBX or Teams tenant, headset preference and whether you want phones pre-provisioned.
